fantasy football? the national football league? ok, let's see milwaukee is in wisconsin, the home of the green bay packers, cheeseheads...*sigh* i think i've taken a wrong turn now...
Have danloaded your latest opus but, like a ruddy great nana, I forgot to load it onto me pod this morning before running the Astronettes through the latest dance routine on the re-jigged Serious Moodswings Tour.
Shame because I can think of nothing better than your dulcet tones to get me through half an hour of pirouettes and Warren Peace/Cherry Vanilla dueting on Under Pressure while I have a crafty nap in the cherry picker.
Great stuff Ister - l.u.v.d every minute - esp. the country stuff and the Outcasts. Oh and "Who killed 'Lidl' Towers". A very fine piece of aural excitement indeed. I listened to it whilst Keith was putting me curlers in - or maybe that was the effect of the Slayer song...?
Oh well, it's been 30 years since I had a perm, so I'm sure they're bound to be back in again soon...
Right, I'm off to drop a quid in the Crystal Palace Benevolent Fund box...
Bob - Re: CPFC, we need every penny we can get our grubby little mits on. Administration is so much fun that we've decided to do it again. Thanks for the kind comments regarding the pod. I had to include the Slayer song as it tends to Irk The Purists (speaking of which, Howesy and I gave you a shout out on Depcast #11 - something to do with Bob Wilson in case you missed it). Good luck with the perm.
For those of you who may be still scratching their pretty little heads over the quizical link in the post: The Milwaukee Cannibals is the name of a fictitious American football team named in the song "Mascot Mania" by Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixon and The Toad Liquors. That is indeed a reference to Jeffrey Dahmer. Savvy nearly got there but not quite. And here's Bully to tell you about the star prize you would've won... ;-?

Nice one Ister. Am looking forward to it and wracking my slightly jaded brain as to Milwaukee links...

Talking of which, wasn't there a gal called Monica who won herself the coveted prize of The Arkansas Cigar?
