Taylor & Photon Reconciled

Here's a photo of Peter Taylor (pictured, below left) and the elusive Stray Photon prior to last Saturday's game between Palace and Hull:
TAYLOR: "Hello Stray, have you missed me?"
PHOTON: "Yes, but only whilst Parky was at the helm"
TAYLOR: "No hard feelings then? Can I do anything today to make up for me leaving the KC stadium?"
PHOTON: "Well, a draw would be a nice result for us today. Oh look, I seem to have dropped a rather large wad of cash on the floor. Would you mind picking it up for me?"
TAYLOR: "I can do better than that. I'll lower the height of the goal to make it easier for someone like Dean Windass to hit the crossbar"
PHOTON: "Yeah...I can live with that!"

Dean Windass (below) photographed shortly after being awarded his City & Guilds certificate (part one, with distinction) in woodwork from Alan Mullery.

The entire CPFC team and management hope that all the Hull supporters arrived safely back oop norf to Twickenham after last weekend's game.

I wonder if any Brentford fans enjoyed their journey back from Yeovil last Saturday?

The journey home from Yeovil was markedly more enjoyable than the 90 minutes or so spent at the ground...
aparently...
not that I was there...
but I know someone who was...
the ref was a t####r, no sour grapes, he was...

Money well spent if you ask me. Thank you Mr Taylor; and can you do your Norman Wisdom one more time?

Cracking afternoon. As I believe we discussed, there are few better feelings than walking down the road towards a ground with a pint or two inside you and looking forward to watching a football match.

Shame we had to make do with Palace v City, but you can't have everything. Apparently. But why not?

well, where would you put it?
