Congratulations to Blue Square / Conference league team Histon for today's giant killing display against former European champions Leeds United.It was only seventeen years ago that Histon, a village with a population of 4000, had a small club which comprised just a field and a shed but has since grown into a respectable non-league affair with a following that's sure to increase after today's result (they now face Swansea in the next round).
Today's result will no doubt please Stray Photon who celebrated his 50th birthday yesterday (go and wish him well over at www.sprayingtherays.blogspot.com). Neil Warnock will celebrate his 60th tomorrow after a frustrating 0 - 0 home draw against west London pikeys QPR. Oh how we laughed as we sang: "You're rich, and you're fucking shit...", a chant which must be sweet music to the lugholes of any seasoned Bees fan - and God knows they need cheering up after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Barrow. Mind you, Ben Hamer should know better not to foul in the box - but at least it shows that he's been house trained.
