Wood That Gives Wood

Another post for Guitargonauts (or any guitar anoraks): Following on from Furtheron's superb purchase, us players of tree and steel continue to waste our valuable savings (what's left of them) on fine quality axes and expensive guitar straps. Here for your delectation is a Gibson Les Paul Limited Edition Pacific Reef. Manufactured in 2004 - Gibson's centenary year (although there seems to be some dispute over actual start dates) - it's one that seems to be well admired by many that have bought one.
After picking this near mint example up from Birmingham recently (never thought I'd actually see signs to Digbeth Coach Station in the flesh), I took it to my local guitar shop for a fret dress and set up as some of the frets are quite flat at the top and the action needs to come down a tad. It's still there and I can't wait to get it back. In the meantime I'll just have to sit and watch cats in a moshpit.
