Railway Safety Video

WARNING: Not for the squeamish! This is how us professional railway operatives are taught not to meddle with overhead lines, kids. It's a good job that I only have to step cautiously over third rails otherwise I'd get really confused...

Yikes!

No one seems to be taking much notice of the man who has fried himself. Did he survive?

Savvy - I'm having problems with my widget but you can grab hold of it here. Gawd 'elp us, it's like bleedin' Carry On in 'ere...

Liz - I haven't got a Scooby. I doubt it somehow, that's two large doses of humungous current that's been administered.

It's been doing the rounds at work this - along similar lines(no pun intended), I actually saw two prize nit-wits at Fenchurch Street Stn a couple of weeks back, that had walked to the end of the platform and down the slopy bit and were both standing and peeing onto the tracks

Too often in recent past I've seen stories on the news of deaths on the railway of teenagers and the parents saying things like "There are not enough notices" etc.

Sorry!!!!

Then his mates come on "He was a bright lad, so much future, it's a real shame, something needs to be done"

Sorry!!!

He was a tit with no brains. It KILLS for goodness sake!

Chairman Bill - Welcome. Tell me something I don't know ;-)

Piley - How about the cold bastard who has the bleedin' nerve to post this sick video on his blog?!? Disgusting.

Chazza - Even the wild boar that run around on the Indian railway tracks have more sense than the muppet in the video. And they don't even wear high-visibility vests.

PM - It's interesting watching people pee onto the tracks. Will the liquid come into contact with the 3rd rail or not? It's in the hands of fate.

Carl - Hello, mate. The guy in the video HAD shit for brains. Past tense.

Furtheron - I wonder if railway organisations are still doing the school rounds telling the kids to stay away from the tracks, it's not a playground, etc...
Perhaps not?

I said boy! I said boy! I said it was one way of getting him down off the roof of that godarn train. If I say it once I'll say it....

Col said...

Actually, it's worth another look eh?

Istvanski said...

MoMad - The saddest and most ironic thing was that he unwittingly made a grab for the overhead line to keep his balance to prevent himself from falling off the train and breaking his neck!

Col - I read you the first time, bruv! Is that what's known as quadraphonic commenting?

Anon - I know!

Anon - I know!

Oh god - that's awful. The Romo is well and truly shocked (pardon the pun)..

MoMad - Just watching that clip sent a tingle down my spine. Imagine the big bastard tingle the victim got!

RoMo - Do you reckon your mate Fi filmed this?

What made me larf was Liz: "Did he survive?"
Well he may have done, but the goo running down the side of the carriage and the fact that he seems to be ever so slightly on fire may point to the negative.

That's got to be 70 odd thousand volts right there, but the crazy thing is, why doesn't the camera jerk when there's a fuck off flash and an exploding head and stuff...

More to the point - why was anyone filming that in the first place??
