Twas last Tuesday night when Jif bought Mick's 12 string Aria acoustic which came in a hard case for a very reasonable fifty knicker. So we celebrated by going down to The Prince of Wales pub in Twickers for an acoustic jam. The large room at the back of the pub housed an assortment of local folkies and beatniks who were all too eager to spread the word of the unplugged. Old and new tunes were aired along with a few original compositions by some of the enthusiasts. Of course, I had to lower the tone of the evening by strumming a Half Man Half Biscuit song. Never again.

Indeed he does old boy, indeed he does. Excellent. You should have given me the nod - I'd have come along!
It was advertised on me munterspace, ol' boy...pay attention next time.
Incandescent, impassioned, intense, Ister
This Canuck had to Google "Blue Badge".
What were you doing with 50 knickers?
Where might one find these Blue Badgers of which you speak? They sound like a fun night out.
Lower the tone?
Au contraire, Istvanski; that was excellent! It'll keep me grinning all day.
Cheers!
Who looks at munterspace?
Well I don't remember it that much? the sound quality, but man..that recording is pretty good considering the circumstances! wonder why the sound comes and goes sometimes?
Kudos to you my friend for placing your rendition here.
Aaaah, so that's it eh? You wait til I'm out of the country to come over to my manor eh? Prince of Wales eh? Hope you had the permission of the Swiper for the use of his local.
Oh...and another thing! Not wishing to lower the tone or insult anyone there that night, but I really could've done without the 'Soft Cell' number!! yikes!
I mean it's one of my all time hates.
Ah why not!
Sure we're all retards. (O!!!
I used the R word sorry::::: we're all fucking eejits, how’s that for a load of old bollocks;-)
Yours: Politically correct.
Nice one, sir!
Nice little ditty Ist. Ta.
JPT - ...and after the first song I felt irradicated.
MJ - 50 Knickers? No, I meant as in dosh, spondoolicks, cash, money. I'm not Tom Jones, you know.
Kenski - They tend to sit next to Leprechauns in the forest. They're a right blast according to the voices in my head.
Dive - Cheers, me dears. It was the first "gig" in over ten years. My underpants were not a pretty sight.
Axe - Not you. Hope you're having a groovy holiday, wherever you are.
Jif - I forgot to format the new memory card after I bought it, I presume that's why the sound wasn't as good as it could've been.
Howesy - Swiper doesn't drink in there anymore, He's been replaced by a north American bloke called John. Fact.
Jif - It brought some variety to the proceedings. They're doing Bronski Beat next week.
Cyrano - You don't have to be politically incorrect here but it helps.
Joanne - Thank you, madam!
DH - Cheers for you continued support, Dick. I'll pass the hat round now.
Bottling we used to call it.
