Yeah, I remember Netscape Nav. Firefox is only about 5 years old isn't it? As for T'internet Explorer, that's so old you have to load it onto the pc from a tape cassette. Just like a Sinclair Spectrum.
I was reading Nick Kent's review of 'This Year's Model' only yesterday - hysterical stuff. Along the lines of - "I don't want to do one of those reviews where you just pile superlative upon superlative.... but, basically, this is the best record ever made...." sort of thing.
Interesting what Costello had to say about the initial wave of punk bands. He said the Damned were the best because they were the most natural - the Pistols and the Clash were both 'art statements'. He knows his music does Declan.
I saw EC at the Royal Albert Hall in 1986(? - it was the tour where he had the wheel of song - not unlike your EC Clock there...); Gentleman Mike and I were sat to the side and slightly behind the band. You could see his breathe as he was singing 'I want you'. A real hairs on the back of the neck job.
Geoff - Sorry 'bout that. I'd compensate in some way if I could but I don't have blogger's insurance.
Bob - Yes, he was quite on-the-nail with his punk band description. I wish I were old enough to have seen The Attractions when they were just breaking through. Dammit, I was too busy swimming around in me dad's bollocks even in the summer of lurve.
Have you been altering your d.o.b. on munterspace again Ister? You aren't that young to not have seen The Attractions surely? I don't mean you are really old by the way just not that young to not have seen them. Oh god - what AM I going on about? I'll shut up and go and check my sitemeter I think. Had alot of interest from Finland of late for some strange reason.

Is it invisible? I see no clock.

You can see the clock here.
I just tried to "punch the clock".
It hurt.

Ah, what I meant was that I was still in primary school in '77. Sorry, I'll be more concise next time!
:-)
Ooh - I can see it in safari.
