At a packed press banquet in Camelot he went on to say "I felt desperate measures were needed after the succession of the many court jesters that have taken residency here in the past. It was basically down to two choices; hiring someone who claimed to have supernatural powers or getting another clown in such as Ian Holloway. Obviously, the former took precedent. I'd also like to declare that magician's apprentice and successor-in-training Mick Jones will be part of the backroom team, who will assist Neil with the stirring of the cauldron".
Former comedian by royal appointment Iain Dowie was reported to be in hiding somewhere in the Midlands yesterday as King Jordan issued another warrant for his arrest. It has been reported in the Magna Carta that Dowie is wanted for questioning over charges of treason and conspiracy to steal a magic vanity potion. Loyal subjects of SE25 have failed to acknowledge his existence ever since.
Part of yesterday's celebratory events included a Yorkshire dialect competition held in Brighton, in which members of the public were assessed on their ability to sound Northern. Judging the contest were John and Damien O'Neill from www.whippetnation.com, who remarked; "Overall, the standard of Sheffield accents being spoken was quite high, with the exception of the two jokers in the front row who were shouting at each other. They sounded like a couple of retards from Belfast. We don't know why they were talking like that. Perhaps they got confused between The Orange Order and King Jordan's skin tone".
His Royal Highness and his new wizard will shortly be embarking on a small tour of Blackpool soon after this week's international war with the Baltic-Ruski lands. King Jordan is sponsored by Fanta.

Whooosh! It's all just gone over my head. But very well written. x
Colin will bring a success of sorts, based on hard work and, er, hard work.
Whether it'll be worth watching is another issue.
I'll have a pint of wot your 'aving mate...
Hi Ist....I didn't understand any of that. Must be good. Cheers. dh.
Is this about football by any chance?
Hello everyone!
I don't know what came over me with that last post...I reckon that Stray Photon fellow has zapped me with some "Spraying The Rays" type vibes via a radiography machine which he has cunningly wired up into the internet - just as I was about to get down to writing a serious review on last Thursday's Undertones gig!
As a result of this electronic brainwashing, it seems that I no longer have any recollection about what happened that night in Brighton...which in itself is starting to give me a bit of a complex.
well, ok...whatever you say, sugar...
You need to watch out for that Spray Futon bloke. Keep thinking - you will do a review of The Undertones gig. Look into my eyes. You will do a review of The Undertones gig. Tick tock tick tock.
Yes, yes, a review of The Undertones...there is still time...get it into NME before Paul Morley.
wow, these guys have been around for a long time..
I've read this post again, and I think this IS a review of the Undertones gig...
Savvy - Are you saying that Geoff, RoMo, DH & Howesy have been around a long time? What are you implying sugar? ;-)
RoMo - Are you trying to "H-Y-P Hypnotize" me?
DH - Looks like Morley will get in there first if my internet (interplod?) connection refuses to speed up.
Howesy - I knew you'd always end up as a train driver, you sharp cookie! I've sent out soggy peanuts to Geoff, RoMo and yourself for impeccable powers of suss.
no, the band, man..the band!
