Jose MOURINHO has revealed that he could take over as Crystal Palace manager. The Special One, who has reportedly fallen out with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, was contracted with Chelsea up to 2010.
But MOURINHO says he loves London so much that he would even become Eagles boss to enjoy the Olympics when they arrive in 2012. "London is perfect. My family is happy living here," he said. "So although you can never predict what will happen in football, I would like to be in London by 2012.
"If it is not working at Chelsea, then Crystal Palace or somebody else. London is a special city because it has won the right and the privilege to host the Olympic Games.
"For me, because my life is about football and my job is football, London is an unbelievable city.
"How many big clubs are in the city? How many Premiership clubs are in the city? Everybody is in love with the game. It is the kind of city where you smell football in every corner."
Be seeing you.

On a slightly more important note - can you log in to your munterspace account? I've been locked out of mine for three days and get a fatal error when I try and mail customer services. Perhaps it is time to go over to f*@kbook after all?
Gosh, is this a news story? I thought it was some sort of hideous Sartre type nightmare as Sky had it on rolling news all bloody day.
RoMo - I managed to log into Munterspace without any problems. Perish the thought of migrating over to Faceache even if I did have hassle getting into Munterspace. Have you had any luck since?
Eliza - It's all true (apart from Jose coming to Palace, probably). I'd like to see where his expertise will take us without the funds though.
This is the real reason why Jose left Stamford Bridge.
