Of course, it could all be a wind-up. It could be a comment regarding the ludicrous hat that I wear in the picture, or even my own mother's bedroom skills (which is not something that I want to imagine) as opposed to the songs, but who the hell is gonna deny me my moment of happiness?
Made my day?
Made my fucking year, mate.
UPDATE: It seems that there are two (at the time of going to press) Groundhog MySpace sites. The first one (the one that Mr Ken Pustelnik is operating from) is here. The Tony McPhee derived site is here. I'm MySpace friends with the latter and not the K.P. version. Neither of these two sites are 'friends' with each other. Was K.P. just trying to rustle up some self-interest by being nice for the sake of it and then informing me that McPhee's Groundhogs are not the real McCoy? I've been a cynic for the best part of my life, and it certainly feels that is what the case may be at this moment.
So, it's at this point in time that I would like to plug my new band; The Croydogs.

Wow - well deserved Ister - it just goes to show that not everyone is a total minging munter on munterspace. Oh I see you have 'comment moderation' on - hope this passes the moderation test.
You know what he meant mate, you should be proud of that one. Go on, treat yourself to some smug self satisfiedness!
Went to M.O.R's place today...
Still suffering the after effects of wierdness mate. SOOO black...
How much more black can you get?
None mate, none.
I keep leaving witty comments here but nothing happens. Most discouraging.
Dear Istvanski,
I reckon up it's real chuck.
Now, I see that below you, you have a hot dog post. I am dressing up as a hot dog for Comic Relief. Who would like to sponsor me. If I get enough money, I might even post a picture up of me wearing it. I've only made the sausage part so far, with ketchup made of red feathers and mustard made of yellow ribbon. I've just got to make the baps now.
Ahem.
Molly. Come on, sponsor me!
DH reckons that this comment box doesn't work....well does it?
this don't work
Went to see The Groundhogs in Sarfend several years back. A couple of my mates were sound engineers at local venues so I used to get in cheap as part of the sound crew :)
Sorry 'bout the comment moderation folks, it's off now, but I collected no less than 4 comments advertising viagra and online casinos etc. I also needed some time off so that I could go shopping for a bigger hat, ahem.
RoMo - The funny thing about that email that Mr Pustelnik sent me was the follow up reply. He told me that he wasn't playing in the line-up of the latest gigs that are about to do the rounds (and neither does he know which line up has been employed by Tony MacPhee!) although the munterspace place he is interacting from is known as "Official Groundhogs MySpace Site"...weird.
Howesy - The M.O'R munterspace is splattered in feck blood at the moment, which should be just enough to feed Mick's primitive urges and fondness for Hammer horror films.
Molly - You're on. I'd pay top dollar to see that!
Llewtrah - You lucky little Essex so and so. Did you enjoy the gig?
DH - Sorry for discouraging your witty wittisms, but now you can be as witty as a mad witty person inflicted with chronic witalgia syndrome. Go on, go ahead.
JDA - This don't work?
Istvanski (in loud panto voice): Oh Yes It Does!
I'm upset now. I had a good one about selling hotdogs at Grateful Dead concerts but it's slipped my mind.
The gig was good, but my main reason for being there was I was shagging one of the sound crew at the time.
Nice of you to be so 'open' about that, Llewtrah...ahem.
Well not actually at the time, Istvanski, that would have interfered with the sound quality and the venue didn't have a licence for Amsterdam-style live entertainment ....
It would also have given Tony McPhee a heart attack!
