Damn...I was just about to use 'Neu' in a pun inspired comment and you beat me to it.

'Can' we have a 'Neu' computer to play it on? Or will have to 'Kraft' one at 'werk'. Julian won't be able to 'Cope' if he finds out I wrote this piffle, he really won't.

Ich bin ein dumpkopf. Nicht ein Jifdumpkopfalliance. Es ist lovely.

Have you got Julian Cope's little book about Krautrock? It is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

He got really excited when I told him I had a copy. He's such a nice bloke.

I thought I might be the "Faust" to comment here, but Molly seems to have beaten me to it. Perhaps you "Can" get a "Cluster" of comments now though.

I always thought Julian Cope's Krautrock book didn't really exist, because I've never seen it on sale anywhere. However, his two part autobiography has some hilarious bits in. The story of his attempt to get to the supermarket in Tamworth where he ends up wading through a river springs to mind ...

... anyway, a Krautrock podcast. Excellent - I just hope it downloads okay this time and I get to hear more than ten minutes of it.

Well done - another fine depcast you got us into Istvanski. Cheered me up in my flu-ridden foul-tempered state.

Back off to bed to plump up the pillows and moan. I hate being ill. Oh Arfa, I need more lemsip.

Rockmother wish you well soon. . .the Lemon sips do give you that comf e e feeling at times like this. Flu paid us an un welcome visit a few weeks ago making us feeling sorry for ones selves.

One thing in life is the tax man and flu we cannot escape from effects us all. . .

Apparently that book is very hard to get now...dunno why...it is really small too and really does fit in your pocket. OOoooooooh, fluorescent pen covers of Neu! Just get them off the shelf and fondle them.

Cheers Chazz - yes flu and the tax man - two things that are not so good about living in this country.

Part 22

When the starlight told her to interpret the music of starlight, she gave the interpretation of something joined into one. She saw two laughing voices rising up in the air and trickling down the edges of time. She was forever lost in the words of other voices.

Now go to part 23.

Molly & RoMo: Glad you liked it. It's just the ideal thing to listen to whilst trying to track down Molly's story parts.

Betty: Good luck with the download, it has been tested on at least 3 other machines - so far, so good...

JDA: I'll look forward to hearing that Babalooma stuff. I think I'll try hunting down some CDs of the other more obscure Krautrock bands. I've also slightly 'tweaked' the depcast with a bit of Amon Duul preambling type music in the background when we start talking bollocks just before the Neu! track.

Type "Gemm" into Google and it will take you to Gemm music marketplace. I recently found a CD version of a rare Hawkwind album.

Crikey - I read that too quick and thought you were calling me names Jif!

oooh - will download when I get home! Bit of a Kraurock fan here - Scorpions, Grobschnitt, Eloy etc - as a colleague roadied for a band that often toured Germany. I listened to some of albums he bought while over there.
