How's yer head? Not being funny - have you tried acupuncture? I'm going to tell you something that will probably make it all so much worse but you have got something in common with Janet Street-Porter you know - she too suffers terribly with migraines - mind you that's probably because jaw is bigger than Shergar's! Ha ha.
RoMo - I'm off to Occupational Health this Tuesday. I'd like to see what they say about it. Bugger all I reckon - like last time (I went two years ago).
Years ago I saw a nuerologist at St Georges hospital in Tooting, and after all these tests that he put me through, he ended up giving me a business card: "The Migraine Trust" (registered UK charity)...I was dumbstruck, as I was hoping that he'd prescribe me morphine (to shitcan the pain of a migraine in it's early stages)!
I'm getting better though, and they don't seem to be as bad or as frequent as when I had them say, 10 years ago. Cheers for asking.
Will acupuncture be the same as using Deep Heat (ie: it averts your attention from the pain by trying to disquise it)? I've never tried it.
I bet Street-Porter causes a lot of migraines in other people too.
I'll e mail you re: acupuncture - talking of Deep Heat - I cricked my neck yesterday and now am in serious pain with completely rigid neck and shoulder. Perhaps if I put Deep Heat on my eyelids it'll deflect the pain? Ouch.

All's quiet on the everything front isn't it? We've all gone a bit hibernating and lazing around in comment boxes haven't we? Do we all need a bit of a kick up the proverbial? I've felt a bit boring lately which is why I've slacked off!
